I need a (straight) driveshaft for my 1972 CC 108. The original driveshaft has always vibrated. It's not the bearing or mounts. It is bent slightly at the drive end. I tried straightening it in a lathe using a dial indicator, but without alot of success. It was probably damaged during a bearing replacement.
I could probably make a new one... I see new Stainless Steel shafts on ebay, but they aren't listed for a 108.
You can actually see the bend here... when I did my first rebuild of the clutch/drive. (I made my own spring-tool).

I have started a cart on your site... I will need the pins as well... I don't see them listed for a 108.

I looked up the part numbers in my pdf file.. I believe I have them correct:
(1) 1/4 x 1 1/8
(2) 1/4 x 1 1/2

Ray,

Welcome to the forum! I see you live close by. I live in Reidsville.
Make sure you order the spirol pins (coiled spring pin), a roll pin will not last long.
