Hey all
I’m trying to find out the size of the front hydraulic remotes. I made some hoses with ¼” NPT and the quick detach is smaller on the 1572. They are very close to fitting. Is it possible it’s ⅛”NPT?

thx

Good mooring all, I found the Hydraulic connections thx to Roland. When connected and tractor running, I get now movement but I hear the Fluid pump working. I suspect it might be the dual controller at the dash. Strong possibility the from remotes have never been used on my 1572 so I'm thinking the dual controller might need a cleaning/rebuild.

Does anymore have a similar experience, and what did you do to resolve it?

Thx all

Question - p. The 1572 front remotes, is there a feed and return of does it matter for the upper and lower remote females. Also, should I release pressure in the lines before connecting to the tractor ?

Actually, there is not a dedicated pressure and return. They are actually both bi-directional. Which port gets pressure, and which port gets return to tank is determined by which way you move the spool valve with the lever.

For Example:

When you push the handle one direction, the top gets pressure and the bottom is return to tank. That puts pressure on one end of the cylinder, and the oil in the other end, get pushed back to tank

Push the handle the other direction, the bottom gets pressure and the top is return to tank. That puts pressure on the other end of the cylinder and moves it back in the direction it just came from.

This most commonly being used is a hydro angle blade, this linear movement of the cylinder, swings the blade right and left.

Do I know which way corresponds to which port, no I do not. My preference is the blade on the side of the tractor with the handle (in my case it is a twin-stick 1450, so the lever is in my right hand (starter side) of the tractor) moves in the same direction as the handle. When I push forward, that side of the blade moves "away" from my hand, angling the blade to discharge to the left. When I pull back, it moves "toward" my hand, angling to the right. If it doesn't doe that at first, I flip the hoses (no I haven't marked which one is which yet...)
