I had a great time. I always wanted to attend a large plow day like this and everything went really well. I had a blast.
I was the guy with the White CASE Demonstrator.
It was neat to be apart of such a great event and see some different country.

And so, as the sun sinks slowly in the west....
The second shift gets into high gear. This was mostly all plowed when I arrived Sat AM around 9-ish

Nothing like the smell of hot HyTran on a warm fall evening.....

We find Rick Beem in a world of solitude........

Jeff, it was my sons first plowday but he had been practicing at his grandpas farm.

This thread is now the most posted topic in plow days

What a great bunch of pics! I'm pretty sure if we put all of Brian's in motion, we'd have a "moving picture"! It was a tremendous day for plowing and it shows in the pictures and the expressions on everyone's faces. I have a bunch of videos of the day and I'll try to get them all uploaded by the weeks' end and posted here for your enjoyment. Look for yourself if you attended because I'll bet you are in at least one of them... Please feel free to forward any of these video links around and post them where you like. More people need to see how fun this hobby is!

This first video is of my son Caleb night plowing on Casey. He really enjoyed that first time experience for him. He has plowed several times in the past including BC I but this was his first time with the headlights on. BTW--great night plowing pics and copy Dave S-Love 'em!

Here is a short video of the tractors that we brought on a rig that we had borrowed from a friend. There is my cousin Russells 100, my 100 called the Mule, my 782 Cubber, Casey, and my cousin Mikes' Case "White Knight".

This next video was the first one that I took when I got out to the end of the field around 9:45AM. You can see how many guys were already plowing and how much earth had already been rolled...

This last video in this post is especially for Steve Shaff. If you haven't read his restoration thread on the process of rebuilding the 73 that his step dad is driving in this video, I encourage you to check it out--great read. But Steve didn't just build a trailer queen. He has a capable machine built to work and it shows it here.

This video also showcases another really awesome aspect of plow days in general--the family bonding time. One need look no further than the multiple generations of Bluniers in the field on this date. However, they weren't the only one's like that. Plowing can be a common bond if we want it to be. I was so pleased to see old people, young people, and those of us in the middle on their favorite brand working/playing hard together.

Stay Tuned---More videos to come. Including the much anticipated Parade Lap!

Jeff B--Thanks for making the trip all the way down. You took some great pics and I was glad to get to see you and visit even if only for a few minutes. I was manning the video camera and so I gave my regular camera to my uncle Roger to take pics. I was looking through them tonight and I saw this one!

Who's the guy in the red hoodie?

Yep! You were caught on film! Here catching up with my cousin Mike. So glad you made it down. Hopefully next time we can plow together for awhile. I'm really hoping that there will be a BC II next fall...

Joshua S -- Thanks so much for sharing your terrific videos and pics! What a great day it was -- and we appreciated your helpful advice for optimal coulter mounting. As newbies, every bit of useful information helps us a lot!

I have not missed the references to BCII.
This will be a very serious consideration for next year, as Corey M's crop rotation happens to opposite of Steves.....hmmmm...I see a pattern here???
We will see how things shape up!

Rick I came close to air brushing that plow before posting it..lol
