Thanks guys! That's a very tempting offer Dave! Got my truck down taking my time away. I've been offering some advice to a younger fellow who wants to put a loader on a Cub. He'll be getting 3 from me in a couple weeks and wanted some opinions on different things.

OTF special heading my way real soon.

Charlie,

Twin diesels? Tell us more on OTF. Will they soon be joining your herd?

What kind of screws are people using to hold the taillight lens on a Grote light?

I raised the hood to check the fuel and found this today on Turtle, my 108. Fortunately I haven't used him much lately.

It's been a very hot summer and I don't like running cubs above 90* much...it depends on the humidity. Had I run Turtle much things could have taken a bad turn I believe.

Wayne- Hope they didn’t chew anything. My MIL hates chipmunks. A mouse made a nest on her car engine and chewed a wire going to the transmission. I told her it was a chipmunk and she had a fit.

Those rodents are just getting ready for winter.

Speaking of winter, it hit 92 here yesterday.
Coming up around Raleigh, the temp got up to 99 on my truck. Would have snapped a pic, but the traffic was VERY heavy!
Calling for more 90+ days this coming week.

Wish I lived closer to Charlie.

Charlie,

What would be the cost of shipping to ship about a weeks worth of that cool stuff down here?

Wayne,

Get some peppermint oil and spray your cubs with it. It works!

Put in a squirt bottle:
Two teaspoons of essential peppermint oil.
One cup of water.
Few drops of dish detergent.
Then slosh it around to mix it a little, and spray.

Spray once for two days, and then treat about every 3-4 weeks from then on.

Charlie, you'd better throw an extra blanket on th bed so you don't end up with frost on the punkins!

Charile -
I actually saw that in person a few weeks ago, uses a O rear end to drive the fwd.

I also figured out my revving problem to be the governor wasn't set right, got it set. All I need to figure out how to set the throttle limit.

Charlie-

How does that tractor steer? Is it articulated underneath or something of the like?

Strange!

.

Interesting for sure!
Looks like they need to swap the front wheels.
That is an odd looking front drive.

Charlie,

Do you happen to have a pic of the one behind this one?
It looks strange/interesting also.

The decal on the side says "Front Wheel Assist", which to me means not full time. I'm guessing that's a hydraulic motor and it uses wagon steering (solid axle, whole unit swings )..
