I am listing my 1961 Cub Cadet Original for sale. Serial #653. This tractor was completely restored and done correctly. Completely tore down, sandblasted, primed, and painted. Has the original Kohler K161T (recoil) that was completely rebuilt as well as the carburetor. The clutch/brake and all gears are in excellent condition and work as they should. Early options include: "thin" axle, collared spindles, frame, wheels, dash tower, and seat. Has the hard to find dash decal without "choke" on it. This is a beautiful tractor and needs nothing. 100 and 102. 100 supposedly ran when parked 3 years ago, it does have compression, but I have not tried to start it. Needs a battery. $160 cash.

102 runs, but needs the carb cleaned (float sticks), a battery, and the S/G has a bad bearing or two. $225 cash. Both located in Louisville, KY

Stanley, no. The Original takes its own blade. There was both a trip and non-trip blade for the Original

Here's my buddy's Cub Cadet 108. Great running 10 hp Kohler. Mows good, could use mower blades sharpened. He thought it had a solenoid acting up, and parked it. I cleaned the battery connections after finding out I wasn't getting 12v to the solenoid, and it started right up. Has 1 new front tire, rest are in good shape. I've got too many tractors again!!!
169 manual lift rolling frame. 16hp motor and shield is MIA, has good 14hp replacement motor.
Motor smokes slightly at start, but cleans up. Freshly rebuilt #30 carb (including throttle bushing)
Front axle mount buggered up by PO, extra frame with good axle mount included.
Has been torn down since this picture.

I'm listing at $300 for rolling frame and motor, but extremely negotiable on what goes with it, so the price can go up or down.
Most parts are available to get it back together...lets deal.

The 48 inch deck is in good condition. The spindles are tight and spin freely, $100. The 42 inch deck is in good condition. The spindles have some movement, but are in usable condition, $50. The 44 inch deck is solid $10.
