For sale is a 1966 International Harvester model 123 Cub Cadet garden tractor owned and restored by the Sell Brothers of Cadet Connection magazine. The tractor has been in storage the last 6 years after having been restored 11 years ago. It was used in the Cub Cadet 50th anniversary celebration/show representing a model 123 in Florida in the fall of 2010 and on display at their headquarters in Valley City, Ohio in early 2011 for their historical display.

The items refurbished or replaced in the restoration were as follows: Cylinder head shaved and trued up w/new head gasket. Starter/generator rebuilt, new voltage regular, new tie-rod ends, new Titan tires up front, new Deestone tires (23x8.50-12) in the rear. New hydro cooling fan and hydro line, reupholstered seat with correct blue piping, new decals and new paint and other numerous small misc. parts. The tractor starts and runs well with no smoke, the hydro works as it should.

Options on the tractor are lights (2 front, 1 rear), 3 point hitch, wheel weights. There is no mowing deck or other attachments that go w/the tractor as it has only been used for show since restoration or pulling the wagon on rides around the yard w/the kids. Asking $1,300.00 obo, located west of Butler, PA. Call or text 724-355-5662 or email: [email protected].

There is going to be a 129 up for auction here on the 26th. I'll get some pictures up on Monday.
May turn out to be a great deal for someone.

Charlie, if this is against the grain here, feel free to delete.

I have a DANCO UD 6 creeper assy that came with a pile Cub parts.I have no need for it. I took the top off and found the sliding step gear with 24 tooth/40tooth must be replaced. The rest of the gears show wear but appear reusable. the shift fork also shows some wear but also is reusable. the handle is original with 2966 cast on it. there is a coupler on the output shaft.I am asking $70. plus actual shipping cost.Contact info in my profile. Thanks

The DANCO UD 6 has been spoken for. It is no longer available. Thanks for looking.

Mick, not exactly. Mr Steele was a forum member from way back in the late 1990's but his log-in was purged at some point in the early 2000's. If you search the archives you'll find he was a prolific poster back then. However, yes he did post in the wrong classified section... Here's a screen capture of his profile I saved back around 2001. Note the caption of who's who.
