Charlie, it’s listed in the parts lookup for the 1200 and 1450. I didn’t check the 1250. I can only assume (dangerous) that Jim has the part in hand from when he took his apart.

...perhaps it’s under the tin somewhere? It’s called a baffle bracket or something like that. NOT a lift bracket. I might have to look at the 1450 I have that I’ve never touched since I brought it home.

I think it's drawn upside down. If you put it under the head bolt so it hangs over the side of the cylinder the tapped hole would be used for the side baffle and the coil mount. Just my guess.

I am pretty sure Ed is right about that bracket.

Ed has it nailed.
Goes on the right side of the head.
The engine tin that holds the upper coil mount screws into it.

Question for you all,
This is in regards to the amp meter on my Cub 147. Never really paid that much attention to it, however, when running at idle it is on the ‘C’ side. (Slightly, next mark on meter) Then when I throttle up to full throttle, the amp gauge moves to ‘D’ side the next notch over from ‘O’. And stays there. Throttle down to idle, back to ‘C’. Is this normal? Still new to the Cub Cadet world so bare with me guys...

Does your battery go down after continued use? If not, then it sounds like the wires to your amp meter and reversed.
