Ethan,

Well it might not be an accepted practice to mention it directly, you know that Charlie guy that has been giving you all the answers...

He literally owns this place, and CCSpecialties. So buy from him and the other sponsors. It keeps the lights on around here.

Nic,earl- ok I'll look into cc specialties I'll be a team player.

Nic -pardon my ignorance I' didn't realize that digger runs cc specialties

Marlin that's a nice offer!
Ethan, I do buy local at times, but when I do, I prefer a former IH dealer that's about 40 miles away. Cub dealer that's 2 miles away is way to pricey.
I usually try and buy several kits at once from Charlie, but I think I might have a couple more tractors than you do...
A couple friends also know I like to keep duplicates of some on hand, convenient for them...

Earl -I'm going to order a couple of kits on payday.as I stands yes my total stands at one but who knows what the future will bring I'm still on the hunt for an original closer to me and I would like to round out with a QL.I do have to say it's a prudent idea you have on the multiple kits for stock or tradin material

Had a little garden action today. Two of the 149s just earning their keep. Mowed onions and leaves with the one on the right then turned it.

Jason-

I don't think any of mine look as good as yours. All of mine have that "far away" look.

The weather here as been crazy warm as it has for a lot of the country. I was half naked yesterday with just my long sleeve britches on and plowing like a mad farmer. It's been dry here yet I hit a wet spot in the garden. It should be dry enough to finish up by tomorrow. I'm already a good two weeks behind in the garden. I'm thinking of using Claude, the 4000 to harrow things up. I use a Brinly disc harrow but it can be slow and the ride can beat the heck out of your back at first. Of course it gets smoother the longer you harrow. With Claude I can be done in minutes on a smooth ride then start tilling.

We have had one cold night that got down to 3*. This February is close to if not the warmest ever on record here in the triangle area of NC. It was around 75* yesterday and will be warmer today.

I guess the warm winter has something to do with all of the tractors starting right up after a couple months of sitting. I usually have to fool with at least one.

I see I'm rambling a bit due to the java hour.
