Bill J., the 70/100, the 71, 72 and 73 all had the IH logo decal on the back of the seat spring. The Original however did not have the IH logo decal.

I really didn't have to much leftover.
314014.jpg

I've seen a lot of stuff in my day, but I can't say I've ever seen a compression fitting on a battery cable!
Which after I had it running for about 15 minutes, it died and I had no power anywhere.
So I checked at the battery connection, good there.
Checked at the solenoid and NOTHING.
Wiggled the battery cable and power came back to the solenoid, LOL

So after everything else was done, including removing the extra Hobbs hour meter.
I had to fix the hood ornament for Kraig.

We kept a stock of those compression battery terminals for quick fixes on our plow trucks. During breaks in the weather we would either replace the cables or crimp and solder new ends on.

The first steering wheel decal was on the 100 and was an IH decal

Kraig M. Charlie must really like you to get the 125 running in time for your birthday.

David S. Any updates on your 104?

I wish that I'd kept one of the three 100s I've owned over the years. One had a rear pto. All three had good engines, tires and were ready to go.

Charlie,

The last time I wiggled a battery cable it blew up in my face!
yikes.gif

Blew my ball cap 30 feet!
Thankfully, I still can see out of both eyes.

Nice front tires!

You've got me on the sickly tires contest.
All I could come up with is this:

Real nice lineup Dale!

Paul,

I took this cap off of a 100.
When did these come along?

So these caps were not put on the later 100's?
I know the early 100 had a steering wheel like the "O".

Marty,
The clear plastic cap was used on the 100, 1x2/3,1x4/5 etc., but the decal in the cap was different depending on the model. The 100 decal was the IH. The 1x2/3, 1x4/5 used the "starburst" decal like you posted a picture of. The plastic cap it self was the same on all models that used that type cap, just different decals.
