Adjusting hydrostat lever to correct neutral position on a Cub 149

After replacing the cam and dampener springs on a cub 149, the hydro control lever is not in the neutral position. It is located in the forward position about a 4th of the way up from the neutral position. How can i adjust this so the lever is in the correct position? Also have the same problem on a Cub 1811.
