I just picked up a 2007 model 353 snowblower for my GT 3200, and the owner had the gearbox apart to show me the wear on the brass gear. He hit some roots with a real bolt in the shear pin hole and and the brass gear shows some marks, and I’m concerned that the gear may have been moved by the impact. I bought a new one, but when I measured its location on the shaft, I found the gear to be one quarter inch off center on the shaft. . Does anyone know if the brass gear is supposed to be centered on the shaft, or is it correct at one quarter inch off center on the shaft?
Thanks
Doug
