From what I see in the pic, there's no reason to remove it, unless you just want to. But if you must, take a screw driver or a small chisel and tap away it. If your just replacing the ball assembly, put them in and for get it.see picture attached .. is that the bearing cup in the picture ? If so. How do I remove it? I have not been able to get to move from the top side. Also, can the steering tube be removed from the housing ? Thanks, JE
