I have a 149 roller I am turning into a dedicated grass cutter.

Today I gave it two cans of degreaser, drained the hydro/rearend fluid, and removed the worn out front axel pin.

Does anyone have a picture of a new steering pin. I think all the ones I have ever seen or removed resembled that picture. LOL

Worked on the wanna be on tuesday and made progress

new rear-end gasket, hytran filter, 14 pints of hytran, cooling fan.

hooked up drive-train, installed seat-pan, droped in its "name bearer" a K301, hooked wiring up to engine, installed front axel/steering, and tires, and installed fuel tank

The starter generator is next, I had to replace both post and insulators. I had to drill out the holding screws as they stipped out at the phillips head.

Here is a few of photos

Jeff-
Its been several months since you posted anything on the refurbish. How's it coming? Did you get it running? Have you repainted it yet? Just curious?! We have far to many of these threads started that leave ya hanging? LOL. I understand being busy, just didn't want to miss out on any cool progress. The photos you cataloged are great!
