Sean - your mule drive is "NOT" for a 1450. I see wide pulleys and the Idler Ratchet is the style for an 82 series.

Sean - you need to go back to the other thread where Kraig posted a pic of an actual mule drive, and a copy of the page from the Operator Manual (I think) that showed a drawing pic of the mule drive with sub-frame with the names of parts. (If you had a close look at the drawing pic you could tell the Idler Ratchet was "L" shaped.

The Idler Ratchet for the 82 series (which is the mule drive you have) is more of a square shaped "J" and is the same as the Idler Ratchet in the pic of the part that Digger (Charlie) posted near the top of this page.

Maybe Kraig can post some additional pics of a mule drive for a 1450 on the other thread. I don't have one on hand.

Here's a photo of the deck hanger from my 1450, and a close up of the front. I'll dig around and see if I have more photos in my archives but I know this one is from a 1450. If it wasn't so dang cold I'd dig this out and get some better photos of it.
