Now that the 106 is about ready to mow , I thought more responsive brakes would be next on the agenda. I looked up current price on a mtd pad kit $748 dollars is a little spendy. Yes I know about using other materials. Two days later they offered me a 7% discount on said linings . I will pass. Digger has what is needed so that is covered. My main question is what does some of you do to keep the rotors cleaned up ? I have too many toys so some times it is a long time between seat time on any particular tractor. As Digger posted elsewhere Hydros have brakes ?.

Simply driving the tractor will keep the rotors clean, just like your car, as long as the pads have enough material to be doing something.
