Haven't been able to make much headway this past year which has only made the tire debate in my head worse haha. Putting wide tires on the front has me thinking of going with V61s, but also has me feeling like 8.50s look too narrow with the wider front tires but that's probably just me 🤔

From my experience, the 8.50s tire would work better if you plan on plowing. Narrow front tri-ribs seem to be the better choice for steering ability. However, the front seems to get somewhat light when the plow gets deep. Plan on putting weight on the front in the near future to see if that helps.
Steve B. could elaborate more on the subject. He talked me into getting some V-61s and I love the look. Just haven't plowed with them. Can't bring myself to get them dirty! :errrr:
Have you tried the one's you have on it now? From the pic, it appears you have the original tires on it. Those rear tires should do ok, I would think.

Nice pair!

I've heard someone say the wider fronts fill the furrow better, but looks wise on a 100 they just feel kinda fat on the front. Maybe it's just the lack of fenders throwing me off. Maybe this winter I'll actually get somewhere with this thing 😆
