Voltage Regulator and continuing carb issues

Here's my update. I checked out re-build kits for the K241 carb and found that for an extra 10 bucks I could get a whole new carburetor. So I did. Maybe that was a good idea; maybe not. Time will tell. Nevertheless, I thought it made sense for the money. It arrived a day or two ago and I...

    Snow blade

Voltage Regulator and continuing carb issues

I'm working two issues on my 107. First, is the carb. The float still seems stuck, and it appears the spring on the main adjustment needle isn't providing much "spring". The engine runs, but if I shut it off, fuel will pour out the carb intake until I shut off the fuel tank valve. When it...

    Sub-Compact Tractor with Loader

I'm a Kubota fan. They've been in the states for a very long time and there are a lot of them around, so it's not hard to find parts. I don't own one, but I've seen enough of them to know I like them, for whatever that's worth...

    wiring schematic or other ideas?

Just a quick progress report: Haven't done any troubleshooting since the original posting. I know what you're thinking: "what a bum!" I've been busy rebuilding a waterfall and cleaning the pond... So, today I wandered into the shed to get the pond vac, but the 107 was in the way. I thought...

    wiring schematic or other ideas?

Thanks, digger! I found the same diagram right after I hit send! We're on the same page! My guess, looking at the schematic, is the solenoid or the switch, or the neutral safety switch which I bypassed a few years ago... Open to suggestions. I need to see who has power going in/out.

    wiring schematic or other ideas?

You may (or may not) recall a thread I started a few weeks ago about my 107's carb. Dismantled the whole thing, cleaned it up, and she ran perfectly. So I go out to crank it up today and I get gas pouring out of the carb again. Well, at least I know what I'm dealing with... Remove carb...

42-inch International Blade (dozer, snow, etc) for sale

I will provide a photo to anyone who is seriously interested - I have to move a bunch of things in the shed to get to it... This blade has been used with my Model 107, but will fit any model up to and including Model 125. (It could fit others, but these models are specifically mentioned in the...

    Model 107 carburetor question

Success! Thanks for the tip on the wire brush. As it turns out, the main needle was in good shape. The problem was the float needle. BTW - the float is brass. Took everything apart, cleaned it all with parts cleaner and carb cleaner, double checked the float and gave it a whirl. Started...

    Model 107 carburetor question

My opinion at this point is that everything is just gummed up. When I took the bowl off, the float was "down". Initially, gasoline was pouring out of the carb, so that would seem to indicate that the float needle was stuck open. When I put it back together gas didn't seem to be flowing at...
