Well, frustrating update the from garage tonight. Man this is slow going. So I decompressed the spring and started to put the clutch side together. Without any roll pins in, the friction disk that moves when the clutch is let in and out moves pretty freely. Once I put in the roll pin it...

I had a sneaking feeling that was the case! Easy enough to breakdown, I have the custom spring tool

Well, I'm so close, need a little advise. Preface, I know the actuator is missing in the build below, just wanted to photo to be clear. For the most part this has gone together pretty smoothly... I had to use a file on the inner sides of the slots on the lower pressure plate so it would...

Not those, on part 4, I have a washer between the teaser and the roll pin

What's the washer between the teaser and the roll pin? That's not on the tc-113... is that a hardware store common?

lol, well ok then! With whom can I speak about this? IIRC driveshafts need to be made now as you cant get them direct anymore, correct? I'd be more than happy to send off what I have to anyone willing to rebuild it. Thanks =)

Got the thing apart safely thanks to that handy dandy compression tool. Here's a bunch of pictures... Thoughts on the plates and disk? The driveshaft has obvious ridging but its not awful... Obviously a new TO bearing and teaser will be needed

Let's try this again in the right section (ugh, sorry!) Finally got around to dropping the driveshaft in the 124 (shifting became a two-handed game of strength) Face of the throwout bearing is gone I bought a tool from Matt to take this thing apart but cant figure it out for the life...

Finally got around to dropping the driveshaft in the 124 (shifting became a two-handed game of strength) Face of the throwout bearing is gone I bought a tool from Matt to take this thing apart but cant figure it out for the life of me... How do the plates look, where to go from here?

Wayne, I haven't regarding the brakes yet simply because I came here first... Prior to this all happening the brakes worked just fine... It's only with this new development with the shifting issue that the brakes are now seemingly having issues... Now, that being said, if the clutch isn't...

Thanks for the advice Wayne So basically I'd be doing: 1) engine removal 2) pages 2-14 -> 2-17 Do you think I need to also split the tractor to service the breaks or are my described issues namely going to be a clutch job only? My neighbor can do welding so I should be OK there

My main problem is going to be finding someone who'll be willing to do this with me.. I do have the TC-SEC-K parts manual and the IH-GSS-1398 service manual... I think I might have to find someone local who'll be willing to help me... I can turn a wrench but when I do something "crazy" for...

Hey all! Been a bit since I've posted so I hope everyone is well! Having some issues with my 124 this year... Started up and drove great for the first mow of the year but things went south on the second mow... I am having some serious shift and braking issues... Just a little...
