    I work at a machine shop had some pipes come in from a power plant. Had to do some work on them,but had to take out some set screws.2" set screw had to come out to do the machining on the tubes. We had big heat and 6 foot bar on them no go. The mech at the power plant brought over bees wax...

    Cory ; the 44" deck was off set , the mule drive for the 44" deck....the pulleys are angled. For the 38" deck, the mule drive pulleys should be straight.

    Frank; I had a pto on the 149 that would not shut down. The tech at IH could not find the problem , the answer was the little springs on the clutch bolts were bad. Put new ones in and pto stopped right.

    Wayne i milled a key down to the end of the shaft. Is their one set screw on the gen pulley ? If so i added one more 90' from the set screw in the pulley. Has never came loose yet works good .

    Jimmy , my 1250 did the same thing a week ago . Took carb off everything looked ok, took the seat out and found a small black speck behind the seat . took that out run great now . the gas run out of the seat but not full flow hope this is it.

    Greg P ; My 147 would do that some time ,the trouble i found was the brake bands on the motor .Check the wire plug to the electric lift or run a jumper wire to the plug to see if that works .

    Art, I put carpet in my cub den. Nice to lay on working on cubs. warmer in winter if it get dirty pull out and power wash or get a new scrape pieace. works good for me.

    On the angle blade cylinder the ports and pin are on the side . the lift cylinders are quarter turn off so them wont mount up . I have the light cylinder on the 1450 with the 54" blade. must have been later when IH went to a heavyer cylinder . SO their are two cylinders that will work on the...

    Chip Mine did the same thing a year ago. I the drive the spring inserts were broke and stoped the motor. I used lite grease to lube things up. Charlie has parts he will fix you up.

    Tristan; I made a weight box and put a receiver tube inside the weight box. the pin is inside makes your hitch 2ft high . You can still add weight to the box ,works well pulling my 7x12 inclosed trailer or boat . On level ground should work good . Put this on my 149.

    It warmed up here to +5 so went out and cleaned up after the big blast we had the other day . The 1450 with the hyd angle bade was slow . But had a quick spin in the snow to clean up the crumbs.

    Matt s Look for a 1450 or a 1650 with power angle blade. My 1450 with power angle is great tilt it any time you want. You can put dual hyd on any hyd tractor.

    You cant have to many cubs . The 149 for throwing snow. The 1450 with the power angle blade or sweepster. The 147 resting this winter. The o for pulling the trailer. The 125 for mowing. The 106 on stand by. The 1250 for the loader got to get that done. The other o just to look at ,new...

    Merry christmas to all from south dakota. 2feet of snow and more coming,going to give the cub work out to clean this up. Bought the 149 this summer works well. The thrower is a 42qa is bigger than the old 36" used last year. Giving the 147 a rest this year hope everybody has a good new years to .
