When you put a stack on an engine you are significantly reducing back pressure in the exhaust tract. This causes a lean condition which in time will burn a valve. Readjust the carburetor with the stack on a little on the rich side and you should be good to go. I have custom made numerous stacks...

I agree gerry. Also make sure its welded back on straight up and down otherwise the blade wont sit flat on the ground.

That would make sense. I have a feeling mine was broken before I got it. Its in sad shape but does get the job done. It probably didnt help last winter hitting a patch of ice and possibly grazing the curb...

Tony, yes it should be welded to the triangular piece. I just got done repairing mine as it had completely broken free and was allowing the triangular piece and the piece below it to contact the back of the blade itself. Im not sure how or why this happens but its the 2nd one ive repaired. My...

    *82* series Hydro Oil Level

The fan on an 82 series is larger than a narrow frame, wide frame, or ql but there still should be enough room to remove and install the filter without damaging the fan. It just takes some care and a steady hand.

    Huber Maintainer-Grader Tractor

Thanks again kraig for posting these pictures for me. I dont know anything about this critter but I think its pretty neat. Jaeckel brothers here in fort atkinson brought it in. Apparently they started out their excavating business with one of these. It has a 6 cyl hercules engine in it. If...

Jeff there is a really good write up on it in the faq's. I printed it off and got mine dialed in except for minor adjustments for conditions.

Thank you kraig for posting the picture below for me. I thought I would share this, my son and step daughter cruising around the front yard on the 1650 and 1200. I am already being asked to go buy another so everybody has their own. Mom and the budget arent exactly on board with that but we will...

    Not very pretty . . .

Frank very nice find. Buddy of mine has an 1810 that we put a cast iron rear end into as well as a k241 transplant but only because the m18 had a broken rod. The thing just mows and mows and mows. Someday we will rebuild and reinstall the m18 but for now we're installing a ported hydro pump amd...

Sounds to me like the switch could be faulty or the wrong switch. Opening the circuit when it should be closing it or grounding out.

The rear end from a narrow frame will fit into a wide frame. I have done it with a hydro. Yes you'll have to use the correct length driveshaft. I put a cast iron rearend from a 127 into a ccc 1810 without really any hassle at all and it works good. I would think itd be the same with a gear drive.

The 1200 has returned to my garage to stay. It has now become my project tractor. I've always wanted to build a narrow front cub and now I have the candidate to do it. Any advice or input would be appreciated. I have researched a few different ways to go about this and think I have a fairly...

To AG, or not to AG?

Lonnie or vincent, what size/brand are those ags? I'm just curious, the pic makes them look real tall and skinny.

I got the new iso mounts installed in the 1650 today. Not pleased with the amount of vibration it still has, though much less than with the experimental shock bushings. I got new lock nuts and set then to about 1 thread protruding through the nut. I did play around with them some but ran out of...

Brian- when I first got the 1650 the mounts and rails were a mess. I reused the top mounts, placed them on the bottome and used some rubber shock bushings I had on the top, along with the cradle mod. I was very pleased with how little vibration the k341 had afterwards. Unfortunately the original...
