    Clean everything up (not the armature ) with kerosene. Then rinse in warm soapy water. Then blow dry. Take the armature and some 600 grit sandpaper and clean up those contact points (copper) where the brushes contact. Take a small screw driver or a metal hack saw blade and clean up between those...

    Last time I dealt with Fastenal, they said they would ship it, if it fit on a pallet that a fork lift can pick up and load. I shipped a modified pallet that had no problems in shipping.

    Throttle linkage or governor is broke? Never had that issue. The 147 came with the electric lift. Alot of those electric lifts would stop working and the owner would replace it with a manual lift.

    Yes, two gas tanks. I had a IH 200 series truck (1974 year) and it had the 392 motor in it. That motor was awesome, I would load that truck down with firewood, and it drove as if it wasn’t even loaded at all. And we got plenty of hills here in the Ozarks.
