Just a quick stupid question, I was going to rering a k301 out of one of my cubs it runs fine all except burning oil, and right now it is a standard bore, would I use the standard bore ring kit or would I go up to the .10 ring, the piston looks good and everything else is within spec.

I only have a digital dial caliper that will only go about 1/2 of an inch into cylinder wall. so I may be off, and if so it sounds like so far it has a standard bore.

Need some help, I have the k301 block out of my 128, and was looking at the piston trying to determine if the block had been bored, the numbering on the top of the piston reads 235302 instead of std. So I have had no luck tracking this number down, if any help could be provided it would be helpful.

You are right about the length on the 42" deck, these blades were just over the 22" by less than an 1/8th of an inch, so I had to grind the tip edge of the blade mostly paint and just a little of the metal now it spins freely without getting catching the baffels on the deck.

Dennis- yeah that deck belt had been on there quite awhile, it was starting to slip some, so when I put the tensioner or idler pully back on what is the best way to do it. Pull the pulley towards the front of the deck so I can get the belt on all the way around, otherwise I am not sure of a safe...

Thanks Dennis, I have a new being shipped, I just wanted to make sure I was putting the belt and tensioner back on right, the last one broke at the bolt section where the spring itself is tightened down with a bolt on to the deck. But of course this looked like it had been on the deck for 20 or...

Someone posted a small tutorial awhile back with pictures on how to adjust the Hydro foward/reverse. I rebuilt the trunion on my 127 and now I have more rear speed and gearing than forward. I know there are linkages that can be adjusted, I just don't remember which ones they were, and in which...

Thanks Charlie, I just wasn't sure if I had the right length of straps, because even when I lower it to it's lowest position, the hitch is never level or lower position, it always looks like it is raised about 20 degrees.

The reason I asked was when I measured mine they are only about 12" long and I figured that they may be longer.

Were there any length differences on the brinly sleeve hitch or were they just all the same, I am thinking of having new set made as the ones I have are floaters, and I want a set of stationary ones, and I needed to know the length of the stationary ones so I can have them made.

Hey Adam, next time you log on shoot me an email, I may need to get some specs from you, I plan on doing the same thing with a 128, so your specs and what all you used would be very helpful.

Adam, What did you use and how did you get the jack shaft to correct the rotation on the power steering pump? I was thinking of using a setup like yours on my 128.

    Super Steer Wheel

I needed to know the tractor model that the 4 lug bolt pattern rims or wheels which ever you choose to call them, so I can hunt for a set of them.

    Super Steer Wheel

I was asking because it was a 4 lug bolt pattern and I was going to start looking around for the parts for the super steer project.
