Bill, Thanks for posting the link. Been wanting to install foot hydro control on my 149 loader but life has been too busy this year. Hope to start on it this winter.

    Snake oil

I looked for a previous thread on this subject and couldn't find one so I decided to create one. Question for Charlie. Are you still a Cerma dealer? I'm a firm believer in some additives, MMO, Sea Foam, Lucas, etc. Thought I would give Cerma a try.

Don T, Are you sure the other person read your post on this site? Information travels fast these days and the other buyer could have seen it on any number of other tractor sites (JD probably). Is there any way you can find out? Got my curosity up.

Thanks Rick, Agree on the compression fittings. I have 4 original engines and all are missing the copper line. One has a rubber hose installed by PO. Not good.

What would be the size of the copper fuel line going from the fuel bowl to the carburetor on an Original?

Marlin, Didn't notice but that was a well done movie based on a true story. Was hoping someone would maybe surprise me with that as a Christmas or birthday gift but not yet and that's ok. It's all good.

Also purchased an "O" deck, headlight and switch and rear lift assembly. Good thing I wasn't buying to resale. No margin for profit. Wouldn't make it as an "American Picker".

Tom, That was before my time but no I can't. Kraig, Can't tell from the rear plus his hair is a lot shorter. Figured y'all knew. He didn't mention the forum until I brought it up and even then just mentioned a couple of people he knew that used to be members. I knew his name sounded familiar...

Purchased a couple Originals yesterday from a fellow that used to be a forum member. He's from Fayetteville, TN. I know there are a few members on here that could guess who he is.
