Loose Steering on Narrow Frame Cubs

Thank goodness my grandfather bought this 107 new in 1970. Jones implement company in Tyner ky. I still have the bill of sale, and all of the manuals. I was looking at the manual the other day and noticed in the back you could send off for a service manual for like $3. Wish pap would have...

Look under the faq section here. It shows information about the axle pivot. I just put new tie rods on my 107 this weekend, and my axle pivot showed its ugly self also. I will say the repair isn't for the faint of heart!

    Pto thrust button

What's the options on the different PTO thrust button material? Bronze seems soft for an application on a PTO. my 107 decided that it would mow its last time yesterday with its 53 year old thrust button. Surprisingly I was able to remove the PTO assembly without any issues.

The steps on replacing the wiring harness on a 107.

Here is my results with what I have. Not saying that it's perfect or the type of crimper that is required. I know that you can't pull the terminal off the wire 😉

A set like these will do fine if you take your time. These are from Amazon for like $18. GB makes decent tools.

The steps on replacing the wiring harness on a 107.

I'm at work right now or I would show you what I have. Mine are old from probably from radio shack late 80's. If you take your time you can make a nice crimp with a "normal" set of crimper. Mine has a rounded spot for crimping coaxial wire. I pre-formed the crimp with the coax spot, then did a...

The steps on replacing the wiring harness on a 107.

Funny, I'm rewiring my 107 now! Here's a few pics that might be helpful. A few things I recommend are.. Use heat shrink on crimped terminals. Use the OEM plug for the key switch, but replace the terminals with new 6.3mm locking ones. Don't splice new wires to old ones! I ordered an assortment...
