    Dennis. I have a pair of those black plastic weights that I was thinking about using because of the skid problem.I am kinda thinking 5o more pounds may not be enough to eliminate the problem but 150# would.

    I want to let everyone know that I have the sweetest running 14hp Kohler I ever heard run.After changing about every thing that could be changed,as I was reassembling it I thought you haven't changed the stator.I changed the stator and it runs like it should.Thanks to those who gave me advice...

    Quiet Line coil failure

    I have replaced 7 coils on 3 different 1450's in the past 6 months.They all have been Kohler coils and the last one lasted 2 hours and another lasted 4 hours. Has anyone else experienced coil failure? Dan
