    Blade install question

    Hi guys, I looked through the install manuals on this forum and still can’t find a way to detach my blade subframe from the mainframe for easier attaching. It looks like the attaching rod is welded to the subframe. Do I just pry the subframe from the mainframe?

    Sleeve hitch vs 3-point

    Hi all, I'd like to get a hitch, but am confused by what all I need. I'd just like to use a moldboard plow and box scraper. Can I get by with just the 3-point? Also, is there a list on which attachments are used on each hitch type? Thanks.

    Gear-drive models: do they all use the Cub's 3-speed tranny?

    Hi guys, I may buy another Cadet in a couple of years (I have a hydro unit now). I have heard that some cadets with the 3-speed have the transmission from the farmall cub. Or, do all 3-speed cadets have the cub's tranny? Thanks.

    Front plow fitment?

    Hey guys, I'd like to keep my eyes open for a front plow for my 1250. Can someone tell me what years or models of cub I could look to? For example, does a plow from a different model fit the 1250? Thanks.

    1250 Hydrostatic issue?

    Hi all, I'm still a noob to cub cadets. I was just out mowing and noticed that I don't have a very good speed range on my 1250. Unless I move the speed control most of the way forward (a bit fast for mowing my small yard), she will slow down to neutral. Is this common?

    Paint removal method for painted identification plate

    Hi all, I just bought a 1250 and the previous owner painted the mower deck black, and also painted over the made in usa identification plate. I tried paint thinner to no avail. Does anyone have a good idea for eating away the black paint? Thanks.
