    Sleeve hitch box blade question

I'm going to post this as a new thread but I'll add it here also. I bought one of those aftermarket sleeve hitches and I had issues with it bending which this box blade and cinder block. After a few hours I'd run out of adjustment to get the box blade to raise off the ground. The pin went from...

    Sleeve hitch box blade question

I recently added a brinly 42" box blade to my Cub 149 and it works great. You may want to consider getting the larger 42" version, the extra couple inches past the rear wheels is very handy and is good to "swing" it when turning and get into places where the rear wheels can interfere with. Hard...

    Montgomery reel mower attachment

I can't find where this attachment was made as an option for the Cub Cadet 125 Era, just earlier for the Original and 70/100 models. Any knowledge as to wether this was an original attachment for all narrow frames?

    Montgomery reel mower attachment

Starting low and negotiating is normally how I go about purchasing but since there's virtually zero information on this attachment and seeing only 1 restored as I have pictured I want to make sure it's a fair deal for both parties. From what I saw it was complete with most it's original paint...

    Montgomery reel mower attachment

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some information on the Montgomery reel mower in the Special Duty Attachment brochure from the 1960's. I have a friend who also collects these vintage garden tractors and a while back he acquired the reel mower in a package deal but never did anything with it. I went...

    Hello from Massachusetts

Here I am standing near my 1450 when I was 4-5 years old right after my father and grandfather restored it. My aunt gave it to me as a gift and added the note in the corner😅

    Hello from Massachusetts

That's tought to pick a favorite because they all have certain things I like about them but I'd say my favorite is the Cub Cadet 1450 from my grandfather. I grew up using that tractor and have a photo of myself standing beside it when I was around 4 or 5 years old.

    Hello from Massachusetts

Lots of space hahaha. They're scattered around between different sheds and garages and some at the parents house next door. They support the hobby and help out where they can which is awesome.

    Hello from Massachusetts

At the moment I'm down to about 40 garden tractors in total. Brands range from Cub Cadets to Case and even a Copar Panzer!

    Hello from Massachusetts

Hi Cubbie, 7 of them are in working condition and the others range from needing minor repairs to full on basket cases but certainly restorable.

    Hello from Massachusetts

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum but not new to the hobby of vintage garden tractors. I grew up mowing on my grandfather's Cub Cadet 1450 and over the years have acquired not only that Cub but all the Cub Cadets that belonged to my family and more. I have a total of 11 Cub Cadets (and many...
