Tractor For Sale CC 107 plus accessories

Hi everyone. I bought this 107 on a package deal along with a 102. The 102 has the creeper gear that I need for my 128, but I don't have a need for the 107. I just replaced the coil and condenser to get it running. I just mowed the lawn with it a little while ago. It runs great! The brakes...

    Cub 2521 doesn't run

Hi folks- I recently bought a Cub 2521, knowing it didn't run. The previous owner replaced the head gasket on the left side of the engine and couldn't get it to start after words. I'm fairly certain he didn't torque something down properly, or the intake manifold is leaking. It's showing...

Keeping my deck up on the 128

The weight of the deck isn't the problem, getting it to stay in position without dropping to the ground is.

Keeping my deck up on the 128

I am definitely doing this when I have the time! I appreciate the pictures, Gary. The mower lift is the ONE thing I despise about my 128.

Keeping my deck up on the 128

Gary- thanks for the info. I'll take a look at it more in depth tomorrow. However, I really dig that setup you have there. May I ask what you used for the electric actuator?

Keeping my deck up on the 128

Hi folks- I've tried to do some quick searching on this topic, and I must not be searching the correct terms. I had this problem both with my 129 and 128. The manual deck adjustment lever moves freely when I push the botton down, but the hook at the bottom that is supposed to fit in the...

Tractor For Sale Cub Cadet 129 parts for sale

Hi everyone, Due to a lack of time, I'm looking to sell my CC129 project. I still own a 128 and plan on keeping that forever, but need to let 129 go. I have the fender off and the rear axle off. I wanted to service the rear axle but planned on repainting, which is why it's apart. I just...

What started as a non-starting 129 is turning into much more...

Got everything pressure-washed. Going to work on servicing/upgrading the steering system, making a new wiring harness, and replacing the seals in the real end. Also ordered a fan for the driveshaft, as mine did not have one... and I only know it was supposed to have one through watching other...

What started as a non-starting 129 is turning into much more...

Matt- sadly, someone spray-painted (poorly) over the original paint. They got overspray on everything!

What started as a non-starting 129 is turning into much more...

Hi all- In another thread, I posted about how my 129 won't start. It only has 15psi of compression. The valves appear to be seating, and the cylinder wall looks immaculate. I wonder if I have a stuck ring. Anyways, I pulled the engine to work on it. Then I saw how dirty the engine compartment...

    Low compression on K301

Hi everyone, been awhile since I posted, for which I apologize. Life took over! I got the 128 running great- I love that tractor. Just need to find a creeper gear for it. However, I've been having more and more trouble with the 129. In addition to it not charging, the hydro started leaking...

Return of the clutch noise. Possibly bent shaft?

I think we can see the problem... Can't believe how badly this was wallowed out. I'd put maybe one hour on this tractor since I bought it this spring. I use the 129 to mow. This was simply for pulling cars I'm working on, possibly plowing, etc. It did the job but I could never bring it up to...

Return of the clutch noise. Possibly bent shaft?

I'll take a look at the throw-out bearing as well. Here are pictures of the bearing in question. Doesn't look good!

Return of the clutch noise. Possibly bent shaft?

Yup, I believe you're correct. It definitely appears to be completely worn out. Thank you for the link, I'll get to ordering a new one!

Return of the clutch noise. Possibly bent shaft?

Hey gang, I apologize I haven't been around much. Was busy working on my Fairlane over the summer, it was dry as hell so didn't use my CCs much, then I started teaching again. Some time ago I had posted about a terrible clutch noise, Haven't really had any time to diagnose it, although a...

    New to the family- 129

VERY much appreciate the responses. Ron hit it right on the head. The problem was the friction bushing. I added a small piece of plastic from a butter container lid to help shim it up, and it now works perfectly. Fear not.. it's a temporary fix and I'll get the correct replacement part. Thanks...

    New to the family- 129

I searched the hydro creep problem that people were having, and it doesn't seem to the same issue I'm having. My tractor returns to neutral when pressing the brake and stays in neutral. The problem I have is the hydro lever is so loose than it speeds up to top speed on its own unless you hold...
