Cub Cadet 1450 Drive line question

Neither shaft is available from Cub Cadet. The earlier shaft was discontinued long ago and to repair your older model you ordered the new shaft and 3 discs instead of 2 and eliminated the ball. At least that is what I can ascertain.

Cub Cadet 1450 Drive line question

Serial number 622951 and below used a different shaft which used the ball an one disc at the rear. After 622951 a revised shaft was used and the ball was eliminated and 2 discs were used. I have one of each 1250 model.

Help identifying model year of a 782

    Kirks transdenser K17 true accounts

Hard to say. The windrow off the plow will take out cans also. They don’t necessary have to hit them. The city where I worked people were told not to put trash cans in the street. They would do it anyway. It was impossible for drivers not to knock those cans over. Drivers would keep a list of...

    Cub Original mower spindles

I have found the lubrication in sealed bearings lacking anymore. Especially sealed hubs on vehicles. I get 3 years out of replacement hubs. Even Timkens.

    Cub Original mower spindles

That’s typical. John Deere is the same way. They put a grease fitting on the housing but sealed bearing. Yes, just pull the inner seals.

    122 gearing

I’m sure I’ve seen this info somewhere but can’t find it. My 122 is too slow in 1st and too fast in second for mowing grass. Is there a gear set that slows down second gear? Maybe out of a 128?

    Welding seat

Drill a small hole at each end of the crack. Put it back to original shape and weld say 1/4 inch. Then start an inch away from that and another 1/4 inch and skip again. Do that until you get to the other end. Then go back and do that again from the first weld. Do it until you finish up. Helps to...
