    Its been a while since I posted here,but found this decent 127 localy and couldnt pass it up.I got it to fire with a quick carb spray,but wont stay running so I think in the spring a full carb rebuild is in order.

    That's for environmental protection. The cardboard box is easier to recycle and the bag is less plastic than a bottle.

    I am aware of cw and ccw rotation.I am more worried about the armature windings that look overheated. I haven't found any electrical shop nearby that could test it for me to be sure it's ok. Thanks for the reply

    It looks to me like that welded on bracket is just welded over the top of the original.I did basically the same to mine except I just pinned it.I extended mine about 6 to 8 inches and it still takes two hands to lift it.

    Well I played with the cub today.The 44a is on hold as it looks like I'll be fabricating some parts,but on the bright side,I made a lift rod and got the snow thrower mounted and ready to go. I also ordered a new lever grip and float button from CCS,should complete that project.It fits...

    Ok,so the ride was a little longer than anticipated(just shy of 5 hours one way),but here is what I picked up....well worth the drive IMO. One wide frame hanger assembly and one narrow frame assembly.This should give me enough to work with.

    Yup,just what I was thinking.from what I see now, I can probably reuse the pulley rod.I just need to unweld it from the hanger,put the other pulley arms in,and reweld it back in place. I will be sure to take some pictures as I do it and post.
