Idles Rough a lower speeds, and with blades engaged acts as if it’s bogging down. Any suggestions

Symptom sounds like fuel starvation. 1) Possible fuel tank lines restricted at the bottom of the tank, there may be a fitting that is clogged up depending on how its all plumbed in there. Had similar problem last summer with diesel John Deere units, every one had sediment strainer on the pick...

    149 brakes, 2 styles

Thanks David, the pictures help. BTW correction-My parts tractor was a 107 not 149, so the unmounted brake looks to be the H-H style from the 107. The mounted brake is the middle Ausco. This is good info for me when I shop for parts.

    149 brakes, 2 styles

I parted out a 149, s/n unknown, it had the style with bolts (see picture). My current tractor brakes have a pin style. Is one better than the other?

    Hello from West Michigan

JBLand-- you asked about Tiller parts- I need the entire setup for a 149, I have not a single item for that attachment. Been thinking, may be better to just buy an entire tractor with tiller installed. Do you have parts?

    149 Hydro Diesel repower

Anyone ever try swapping a small diesel ex. Kubota to power the wide frame hydro models? How much horsepower/torque/rpm can the hydro take? Are there any previous threads for this? Thanks

    149 Tiller installation

OK another question: Is there any difference for narrow frame and wide frame for the lift assembly? Are the lifts different, and if so how so?

    149 Tiller installation

Thanks for all the help. I found some wheel weights. I will round up the lift parts and the tiller this fall and install it over the winter. The belt drive on the front is called 'the Mule drive', yes? The install instructions state that I have to change out the stamped idlers with solid...

    149 Tiller installation

I bought a 149 recently, mows very well, purchased a push blade for winter. The tractor came with wheel chains, so I am seeking wheel weights and the part number for the correct ones for my tractor. I want to get a tiller on as well, and I have no idea where to start... which tiller, mount ...
