    Por 15

    I just acid etched and sealed my Cub original tank with Por15 products it had no leaks but was lightly rusted and it’s the second tank I have coated. I have used Por15 several times always happy.

    I did my 30 years of self employment so I am semi retired but as a general rule aluminum with glass bead and steel and iron in aluminum oxide. I don’t like to blast blocks because their are to many areas to trap the media and is very damaging to the internals if you can’t get it clean after...

    I have had employees try and remove rubbery paint or silicone sealant and remove steel with aluminum oxide gust be careful

    I agree if you have heavy paint or rust aluminum oxide is good on steel but it’s aggressive.

    When you say fine what grit is it? I have always use 80 grit at 80 psi glass bead does break down faster than sand or aluminum oxide but I like the finish from glass bead.

    Yes I did test the mag and all the grounds all checked fine except one side of the mag is dead and the epoxy coating is all broken and the condenser is questionable. Thanks
