    Take a bolt that the same thread and grind in 2 sprial flutes in it and it may work.

    Yes I had a 72 t bird when I lived in Atlanta 460.you could watch the fuel Guage drop between red lights.but on the high way I got good gas mileage.now I have a 1979 f250 400 engine almost as bad as the t bird.

    Hydraulic leak on 1864.

    The leak I had is now a river .I took off the saddle cover and the hard line is cracked .so I tried to order 1 and the cub dealer said he cannot get them any more.so I guess I will take the line to a hydraulic shop to get 1 made.

    1864 blade removal

    I used a 2x4 up against deck .split the lumber .it did move and get tighter.I know I was going the right direction to loosen.gave up mower for an hour.and center double spindle bearing gave out.so I'm shopping for parts now.

    Thanks wow they are very tight .3 quarter breaker bar and it just feels like I'm tightening.

    I do not know if the threads are left or right .I have tried both ways with no loosening of the blades.

    No I'm not on the brake and yes it goes to neutral when the brake is applied.

    I have changed the filter .yesterday fluid level was a little low.and it engaged instantly when I went to reverse.some times when I put it in the neutral position it continues to want to move forward when it will not go in reverse.no noise.

    My cub some times does not want to back up.and other times is just fine.any help would be great.
