    Question about swapping front axles.

On the 106 the pivot pin and axle have some play, front to back. The spindle and steering arm holes are slotted from being loose for so long. The spirol pin was held in with a piece of wire and the tie rod ends are nearly falling apart. The axle from the 800 is near perfect because the previous...

    Question about swapping front axles.

    Question about swapping front axles.

I have a cub cadet 106 that I am reviving. The steering is very sloppy at the left spindle and arm, and also the pivot pin and axle. I am wondering if the complete front axle and spindles will swap in from a cannibalized model 800 that i picked up. Thanks in advance for your answers and input.

I've got the Owners manual downloaded, but was looking more for a step by step repair procedure to remove the auger and bearings. Does the shaft come right outof the auger, or is it an assembly to remove complete somehow?

Hello to everyone, I'm not a new member but first time poster.

Rick Kowerko, in the Great White North! I am the 2nd owner of a 1200 cub cadet. One of my kids ran it out of oil years ago and I transplanted a 14 HP into it. A few nights ago I was clearing snow with the QA42A snowthrower on it and the machine didn't seem to be throwing as far as it used to...
