I'm replacing a voltage regulator on my 124 and there are three terminals one the side. One is marked f and I know where it goes, one is marked bat and I know where it goes, there is one marked L and I'm unsure where that one goes ? On the bottom is a single terminal insulated from the...

Thanks Wayne, These would be the two round plates that the clutch goes between. I have a new clutch and I hope that's where it goes as I tapped a roll pin out of the front plate and removed the old clutch from in between them. Thanks again Bill

Still working on my 124. I'm ready to install the clutch and noticed the two round metal holding plates are pretty rough and pitted. Are they they supposed to be smooth as a flywheel? They rough enough for me to wonder if they are supposed to have a little texture. I should be ready...

Greetings from Georgia I am hoping someone can help me with a couple or 4 questions on a 124 wiring diagram. I am trying to figure out what are the items numbered 1-3. Number 4 is my big question. On the diagram where it shows one wire crossing over another does it have meaning other...

Thank you Matt. Knowing the cold crank amps is nice to know. This is the battery that came with the 124 and we had to jump it off when I bought it. I was lucky that the starter generator was generating! I really liked your job on the steering. The thrust bearing is a nice touch. Is...

I need a new battery for my 124. Is there a specific type other than the generic garden and lawn tractor ones at wally mart etc? It would be nice to get one that will hold a charge Bill

Harry and Wayne, Thanks for the information on the 124 voltage regulator. The total wiring harness may be an answer. I looked at the backside of the ignition switch area late last night and found what looks like about a 10 gauge wire and a couple of 8 gauge wires that looked like they were...

Hi Is it possible that the voltage regulator on a 124 could be the same type used on some older cars etc? Next week I'm planning on going to a local wrecking yard that has a lot of older cars. My son is restoring an old muscle car and I thought I might just get lucky! Mine is rusted and...

Greetings ! I'm new here and still getting to know the site. I've looked through the FAQ and haven't seen this one. I have a 124 that has had the wiring "repaired" probably by several "mechanics". At any rate, it's a mess. There is a voltage regulator lying on the foot rest with all but...
