Parts For Sale 44c mowing deck

What does the tag say? That is most likely a 44C deck but could be a 50C deck.

The trans dipstick can be stiff if not removed much. All of mine remove and install effortlessly. As for the harness, keep an eye out for a good used one from a tractor with points(battery) ignition. A 682/782 harness should work if from the erial number range of your tractor. The starters are...

So a friend sent me a text..

Here is my 1282, purchased in mid-Dec 2022. Mine had a myriad of little issues, and all that remains is a cosmetic restoration this spring. I would rebuild the original K301, as they are a stout piece, and very, very simple. Just make sure to use OEM Kohler points and condenser, as the...

Cub Cadet 1330 PTO clutch switch won't stay engaged without holding the clutch switch on

Typically, the seat safety switch, or the PTO relay or connections on both will cause what you are experiencing. Temporarily run a jumper wire from the seat switch connections and see if the PTO engages and stays engaged properly.

    My ninth- 1980 582

Got rid of the severely dry rotted rear turf tires. The 2206 engine donor tractor had a nice pair of older Carlisle USA made Ag tires in the correct size.

Please refer to the attached photo for further clarification. Note the positions by the shape of the relay's metal base. Also ensure that the existing original dash mounted resistor indicator is bypassed by taking one of the leads off and putting it on the other lead, then tightening the nut...

    Breaking Insane Tire Bead

That's high especially since these tires aren't spin balanced. If this price includes new valve stem and possibly bead sealer, then it might be more in line. My local tire guy charges $15 inc. valve stems mount dismount and if necessary bead sealer. Apparently, the bead sealer has become crazy...

The air cleaner foil decal is KH-24-113-496-S, and long discontinued. I may have a lead on a couple of them...wait for it... NOS.

The exhaust shields from an 1863 are on. I will remove them to paint them high heat black. I drove it for 30 minutes, and all went well. The new seat is comfortable.

    129 vs. 2082

There are several 127's on FB MP ranging in price from $175-$1000 in various conditions, and including decks and/or plows. So they are not rare, and not extremely valuable. They are a good tractor, but they do not have the resale value capability of a Cub Diesel, three digit Original, or Super...

cub cadet 129 with K321 14hp engine problems

I'd lean towards a fuel system issue, especially on lightly used engines. Lack of use and improper sealing does also play a role in oxidized contacts on points too.

    129 vs. 2082

It depends. The 127 is a good model. If the engine isn't locked up, then definitely. A seat is a big nothin-burger. I wouldn't pay too much for it since this for resale, and people usually want a deck with the tractor.
