    I used a 2" single gauge mount from sun pro off flea bay, the rubber gromet to protect the wires came from harbor freight. Bottom of gauge is open.

    I didn"t remove the hood pointer to paint the hood, but i had to repaint the hood to turn the pointer around ! The strap fit as good across the front as it did across the top, (just barely) I think it is the original seat, it has a crack.

    Caburetor problem?

    I used part of that kit, I know the bowl gasket, splash gasket and intake gasket all fit. I didn"t use the needle or seat an the air filter gasket didn"t fit. Mine does say carter model N on the outside an has the #26 inside the carb.
