    Mini International Tractor spotted

I saw this beauty on Highway 169 near my house in Minnesota. It was really clean looking, I wish I would have been able to talk to the owner but traffic wasn't cooperating. It had a 4 digit model sticker on the front as well 20xx I think, I don't know my full-size Internationals so I can't...

Parts Wanted Kohler K-Series Flywheel Pulley w/Clutch Drive Plate

I was able to source a used one locally, looks to be in pretty good shape and even came with the key and the set screws! I should be able to get it put on this evening, hopefully even out for a test drive.

I stand corrected! I had only looked on the page labelled "Front PTO's"

Parts Wanted Kohler K-Series Flywheel Pulley w/Clutch Drive Plate

Just checked out of curiosity, $178.22 for the part from cubcadet.com (Search Results for IH-385290-R1) I'll try to remember to check back in a little while when that parts list is updated/posted to see if it's changed and by how much.

Parts Wanted Kohler K-Series Flywheel Pulley w/Clutch Drive Plate

Uff da, I was looking at eBay and ihccw or whatever it is, that’s what popped up on google after I saw you didn’t have any 😆 If I didn’t care to use the PTO I would just look for a regular pulley of equivalent size…

Parts Wanted Kohler K-Series Flywheel Pulley w/Clutch Drive Plate

The whole assembly to the crankshaft, the key way on the crankshaft side is a little damaged as well but I think it’s OK, at least if I can make up for some of the slop in the fit to the crankshaft. I hadn’t thought about cutting another keyway but that’s a great idea, will keep that in mind.

    But they left their DOGS

If you can convert it to a PDF it might work a bit better, I am finding that less and less folks have Microsoft Word installed on their computers, so it's not as "portable" of a format for passing around information anymore.

    But they left their DOGS

Thanks for sharing! I'll be checking these links out over lunch. Glad someone knew the real story behind the photo (y)

    But they left their DOGS

A politician sharing false information, and blaming the current political administration; seems at least a little political to me.. Am I on Facebook here? I thought I deleted that account!?

Parts Wanted Kohler K-Series Flywheel Pulley w/Clutch Drive Plate

IH Part Numbers: PN/ IH-385290-R1 USE KH-231591 My 147 has a pretty loose flywheel pulley. I did see a NOS item for $160 but I'm hoping to spend a good deal less than that for something in a little better shape than what I've got.

    147 Project

Got the PTO and flywheel pulley off. The PTO is all there, and in seemingly decent condition. The flywheel pulley (and crankshaft keyway) are a bit beat up though. Some googling led me to a Loctite brand product that might help with the keyway slop, but the loose flywheel really needs to be...

    147 Project

I did not make it down, but I did spend this past Saturday at the Nowthen Threshing Show which is about 20 minutes from me. There were a handful of old cubs, but I never caught the owners to chat. My son really did enjoy it, I hope to bring my tractors to that show next year, and continue to...

    147 Project

I've still not gotten around to fixing/replacing that tie rod, which is funny because it is probably one of the easier fixes that this tractor needed when I got it. Anyway, I have gotten some other things done recently: Ignition switch replaced Lights (& partial ignition) rewired Electric lift...

    LEST WE FORGET

Wow do I feel foolish... I googled the book to order a copy only to recognize the cover. Not only do I own the book but I actually have read it. New plan: 1. re-read the book 2. re-watch the series

    LEST WE FORGET

I must admit that I had forgotten it was a book, thanks for the reminder I am going to order a copy (y)

    "Beginner" Machinist Tool Set

Glad to see this thread pick back up! Probably due for some updates on my part as well... I've since moved to my new property with a larger garage, which I have the 3rd stall of as my work area. It's not big but it's what I got for now. A pole shed is in the plans, but that's probably a couple...

    LEST WE FORGET

I remember watching Band of Brothers after reading a debate online about what the best television series of all time was. I was only one or two episodes into streaming it from HBO when I went and bought the complete box series knowing it was a collection I wanted to own. Seeing the interviews...

    Zero Turn Trash Picker-Upper

On my Hustler, pushing the control bars out is the [only] way to set the parking brake, I believe. It is slightly annoying when it's stored in my shed and I want some extra space on the side to lean stuff against the wall. This is really not a big deal, but if I had to pick something to...

wanted: old chainsaws and/or old axe heads

Like the title says, I’m looking for old chainsaws or axe heads. Especially homelite or mcculloch saws. Just looking for some stuff to tinker with and to deal with some firewood. Located in MN, northwest suburbs of the twin cities.
