    I would try a product called Zepreserve. It is a Zep commercial grade rust eater! First spray and let sit 24 hours. Take small butane torch and apply heat. Use a Allen socket only! And high quality with nice square new edges. I use Snapon allen sockets and took my pto off with 1/4 drive ratchet...

    Get your self a new snapon 1/4 drive 1/8 Allen socket. I am not a snapon freak. But the allen sockets are better than a allen wrench. If mine ever slip I change just the tip.

    All done and for the first time since I purchased this tractor. The Hydro, system the cutting deck. And the Mule drive work perfectly. Thanks Charlie for help me out figuring correct adjustment. And mostly for this pto. All I had to do was depressthe springs and line up the clutch disk squares.

    Today I got my nice rebuilt PTO from Charlie at cc specialties. The man is very busy but hive him a chance, you will get your part. I pretty for install by coating the allen lock screws with copper anti-seize. And the surface where it will meet the bearing. Hope this helps if it ever has to be...

    I have an order inn with CC specialties for the rebuilt pto with brake. Does anyone know if that comes with the 3 finger brake disk that is held on with the snap ring. Mine seemed loose around the snap ring and spring washer. Not sure if that is a problem. The mower should be working pretty good...

    Just fitted the hood and new grill piece with emblem I got from Ray. Now I see by looking over so many old tractor in ray field how much the prior owner screwed up the colors. I need a can of the white for my grill / hood support. I wait on a rebuild PTO so now be perfect time to repaint this.
