Perkins 2cyl Diesel in 1250 frame

Good day all, I am going to put a 14hp Perkins 2cyl diesel in a 1250 frame. My question is should I mount it solid to frame or should I use rubber motor mounts? Looking for opinions either way. Solid mount will be easier to do, but is that going to create too much stress on the frame and the...

    Which is better to change?

I did a little looking at the parts I was needing to change, pump or axles, on ebay to see what they looked like off the tractor. Decided the pump was the easy way to go, and it was. Four bolts and a gasket and it's done. Really very easy.

    1250 Hydrostatic won't move

Thank you for your help. Checked fluid seems to be full. Fluid looked kind of pink color, did not have a bad or burned smell, will go out to look for release lever on right side. Where can I find out what filter it takes and how to check internal release valves? Thank you again.
