I've been tempted to find a 482 and rid it of the awful 11HP Briggs, and replace it with a single cylinder Command.
Is the 482 belt-driven?

Yeah, they are a shaft/belt hybrid. They are shaft driven from the clutch to a 90 degree gearbox, the a belt drives the Peerless transaxle.
So if the 18XX 20XX 21XX and 22XX are Cyclops, what these guys nickname?
Not being a wise guy but I must ask what is the allure in owning so many Cubs? It is a business, yes.

Some of the 18xx are not Cyclops, such as the 1806, 1810, 1811, 1812.
These would be 82 series, made from 1979-1989.
