They will be indoor cats so we had them "fixed". It's my understanding that being boys they would tend to "spray" to mark their territory. My wife definitely wouldn't go for that. They will be fine. They just have to deal with these cones for about another week.

Once feral. Three sisters were birthed in my Buick Gran Sport of a psycho-feral mother. I took charge of them as feral kittens since we were in desperate need of ratters as well as acknowledging the good taste of the mother to choose a classic Buick as a maternity ward.

The neighboring business harbored a huge population of feral to keep vermin at bay - their business was in refurbishing garbage trucks.

Anyhow, these gals did yeoman's work as ratters in getting our roof-rat issue in hand. Then, they turned their attention (quite sadly) on our quail, dove and parakeet populations as well as the various micro-dinosaurs in the area. Left with no choice but to start feeding them to save the birds and lizards... they became the slovenly, semi-feral cushion slugs you see now. This is after returning home and having forgotten to close the window. They came back and spewed cat-gut-goo all over my favorite chair.
