I missed the modern gun season up here due to weather conditions. Strong wind, rain, etc. never sw a deer that whole week and usually see them every day. Had back trouble durning the best part of the bow season as well as the wife being in recovery mode from knee replacement. Have bow season till January 10 th so hoping to get one that way.

Did not shoot at him I was in the truck

RJ...never give up!! sometimes it takes days, sometimes it's over in minutes but it's called hunting not getting...

Not much better here either. I have hunted the least this year in the past 40 years. If it was not raining, the wind was blowing, or something came up that I could not go.
Why does everything happen during deer season???
Next week is it for hunting here. Maybe, just maybe I will get to hunt some. I'd love to bust another coyote at least. Haven't been able to kill anything with my .222 other than a bluejay.

Lots of Rasping lots of sanding. Just found some Hornady .275 grain round nose. Hard find. If Anyone has a Winchester 88 Throw some pics up

I have my dad's old model 88, in .308, that he bought new back in 1956. It was his main big game rifle until the mid 1990's when he bought a bunch of Ruger model M77s in .338 Win. Mag. (x2), 7MM Rem. Mag., .280 Rem. and .30-06.

Here he is with one of his Caribou and the Model 88 back in the late 1980's.
