Hey everyone, I’m looking to get a new ignition for my 800 since it didn’t come with a key. All of the ignitions I’ve seen online that say they are for my tractor seem to have 3 or 4 prongs, unlike the one that came off which has 5. JCan anyone offer any advice as to which ignition will actually work for my tractor? Thanks

Check with Charlie at CCS\He will have one for sure.
And when you get it, make sure all the connectors in the wire terminal that it plugs into are clean and not all green and corroded.

IGNITION SWITCH
This part replaces IH-61524-C2.

David - the standard ignition switch and key for Quiet Line tractors is made by INDAK. I'll post a pic of the key below. It's very common and used on many lawn care products. Your local NAPA may have one as well under part no. SME 701862D
(By the way, your ignition switch does look well worn so if you can't find a key that looks like this then you could just try a screw driver to see if it turns on and also turns to the start position).

Also, please don't use any ole 5-prong INDAK switch. If you come across one with 5-prongs you "might" be able to use it but you'll have to check the prong codes on the back of the switch with the new switch. If you find them to be the same codes but in the wrong locations you could re-arrange the wires in the switch plug. If you happen to do this please please please make a note of this on a piece of tape on the plug. (Don't ask me how I discovered this had been done on a Quiet Line I purchased a few decades ago).
