I would have added a disclaimer to the YT link. LOL

Drive me nuts not pressure washing all the crud off. Everyone should have at least a garden hose. Compress air would also work.

In the 80’s worked in an IH dealer shop. They overhaul engines without cleaning anything. When finished fire up engine, drive it outside then pressure wash it before delivering back to the customer. Left after 3 months and went to work at a local Deere dealer.

More important today with engines running with 0.0015 inch piston clearances and diesel common rail fuel systems.
