Hey everyone, new to the group! Happy to be here.

Currently own a 78 1100 that I swapped a 10hp kohler into and a 800 I just picked up and am currently selling.

Also have about a dozen “red” and “green” projects.

Tyler - welcome to the Forum. Not sure about your intentions. Probably was a good idea to swap a 10hp Kohler K241AQS into your 1100 since the original 11hp Briggs and Scrapiron just doesn't compare. What you may not realize (and has been discussed alot on the Forum previously) is that the other weak component in the 1100 is the Peerless rearend. It would be a great idea to swap it over to an original IH cast iron rearend from another CC. I probably wouldn't recommend taking it from your 800 since your 800 is one of the rarest CC's ever built. They only produced it for 2 years and it has many unique engine parts that are really quite hard to come by for repair/replacement. I see in your picture you are missing the side panels for the 800 which is really not a big deal. The 1100 never had these panels.

Thank you for the input. I am aware of the peerless being pretty weak and am considering a swap to a regular ih rear with creeper gear. Definitely will not be removing any parts from the 800 as I see it is quite the collectors piece. I’m very happy I stumbled across such a rare piece of machinery.
