You're gonna need a bigger suitcase!

That’s always the way. I need a bigger rental car to fit that bathtub mower, I need a rental trailer to fit a tractor, I need to drive home instead of fly (those are magically always the looong drive trips), I need a bigger suitcase, ...

Like for instance this Fort Smith Cub Cadet. If I had been renting a pickup, I would have that tractor today. It was only an hour or two away from the customer, and work woulda picked up the tab for most of the gas.

Thinking more about it, It will cost more than an Xtreme 3pt to get this one home starting from home. So you guys need to come up with more items that I can use from it if I am going to buy it.

It must be the start of Spring Breaks. The airport is jam-packed with young amateur travelers. The security line was 10 times what it usually is-or at least what it has been lately.

I saw this on St. Louis CL, and thought it was interesting: a loader Wheel Horse with a Cub Cadet tiller-as counterweight, I guess.

I’m back in Circleville, OH, and I swung South near Cincinnati to get here, and picked up this Arnold suitcase weight and bracket. I don’t really like the weight (no handle), but it weighs 42#, and the bracket will hold a total of three weights-I’ll bet even Greene ones.

No fitment yet on the 782. I head home Thursday and will check how close it is this weekend.

When I bought my xt2 last year, I purchased the weight kit with it. The bracket is identical to the one you got, but the attachment to the tractor is different. They still sell those exact weights, and they still aren't my favorite either. But they do what they are designed to do. If you use that set up, I would recommend using all 3 weights, I started with 2 and when I would turn around on a slope, they would slide side to side. So I added a 3rd weight just to keep them from moving. They slid over the little knob that's supposed to keep them in place. I think the slope and tractor vibrations are just enough to let them move over the bump.

Jay, I have my eye on two more of those weights if I travel that direction soon enough. or I may go to my local greene dealer and look for some without prancing sheep on them. I hear they go for about $60 there.

Do they rattle around? It seems like they would. There is no lock bar, and the handle fit is loooose.

They vibrate, but I don't notice any noise, at least it's not noticeable over the engine noise, but I wear the ear muff radio when I'm running the machine. My cub dealer charges $45 for them. On my xt2, 1 weight really wasn't enough, with the new 3 stage blower, 3 is about perfect for that set up. I would imagine if you have a 450 style blower, 3 would be the minimum I would want. I would still want wheel weights. I think those hang on weights are 42lbs each. But that also depends on the size of the operator, I'm 170lbs.

We don’t get enough snow for a blower. My small adult son had a hard time getting traction pushing snow. I have 60# in each wheel, and plan to eventually fully load this new weight bracket. I’m just deciding which type of suitcase weight to use.

3 stage blower? Can I see a picture, please

The 3 stage is an absolute blowing animal! It'll shoot snow 35 feet high and stick it to the old growth white pines at my house. The 450 on my cyclops is by far a heavier built blower, but doesn't throw nearly as far. And the qa42 doesn't even compete with either of them.

Thank you

My first stop this week is in Chicagoland where there is an 1811 not running for $200 on CL.

I was drooling over the oil filter lines. They reminded me that I haven't installed mine yet.

This week is Lansing, MI where there is most of a “ran when parked” 382 on CL for $200. Everyone should have one to complete their set...
