IH Part Numbers: PN/ IH-385290-R1 USE KH-231591

My 147 has a pretty loose flywheel pulley. I did see a NOS item for $160 but I'm hoping to spend a good deal less than that for something in a little better shape than what I've got.

What's loose about it?
The pulley itself to the basket or the whole assembly to the crankshaft?
Loose and worn hub, key & keyway? or worn keyway on the crank itself?
If the keyway in the crank is badly worn, a new one can be cut 180* from it.

Wait another week or so when Kohler fires off the new price list for parts and watch the price jump. Just sayin

The whole assembly to the crankshaft, the key way on the crankshaft side is a little damaged as well but I think it’s OK, at least if I can make up for some of the slop in the fit to the crankshaft.

I hadn’t thought about cutting another keyway but that’s a great idea, will keep that in mind.

Uff da, I was looking at eBay and ihccw or whatever it is, that’s what popped up on google after I saw you didn’t have any 😆

If I didn’t care to use the PTO I would just look for a regular pulley of equivalent size…

Just checked out of curiosity, $178.22 for the part from cubcadet.com (Search Results for IH-385290-R1)

I'll try to remember to check back in a little while when that parts list is updated/posted to see if it's changed and by how much.

What do ya mean I don't have any?
There's 17 on the shelf and they are in more than one spot on the site.

I was able to source a used one locally, looks to be in pretty good shape and even came with the key and the set screws! I should be able to get it put on this evening, hopefully even out for a test drive.

When I put my motor back together this spring my pto basket was loose like that as well. Come to find out even after tightening down the set screws that they weren't seating. I took the basket off and ran a tap down the holes, used new set screws and the problem was over, tightened right up.
