Anybody else have an AM/FM/ Cassette deck on their Cubbie? I listen to it with headphones so the straight pipe really doesn't bother me.

Ha!...not yet, would like to see your setup.
You just jostled a long lost memory of the radio mounted to our 560 growing up. Very similar to this...good ole AM, nothing else! 😁

Dennis,

Now that's a story! Wow!
Would have gave a hundred bucks to see the look on that guy's face when he came home!

Boy...that is a tough one. I like them for different reasons...

This 1250 QL would rank high on my list. It was setup by the guy on the left in the picture when the three of them worked for Chief equipment in the mid to late 70’s at Chief Equipment in Oshkosh. The one in the middle is my dad. It was sold to a family friend new and delivered by the guy on the right. After 20 years, the original owner sold it to another family friend who owned it for about 20 years. Then four years ago, he asked me if I wanted it!!!! It is about 95% factory original. I call it my “Heritage” tractor.

This one is no stranger on this site. It is my third child’s tractor and has about every option you could get on a 100. Unlike Marty’s Beautiful but mostly stock machine, this one has a variety of mods but could be returned to stock if ever desired.

We call it “the Mule” because it was built for furrow plowing and is one awesome plow mule for being such a small rig!

This 125 is my first born son’s tractor. It is also mostly factory original although not in as good of shape as the 1250. It is a super fun tractor to use for a variety of jobs. The old 12hp is getting a little tired but I’m amazed at how capable of a machine it still is!

I searched for one of these for several years before I found one but I really like the red ‘82 series and since I’m partial to GD tractors for plowing, I wanted a 5. This one was built during the last week or so of IH production based on the serial number. Paint and sheetmetal is all original. I can’t wait to set this one up for plowing!

This is not an official IH GT but it is my favorite tractor of all that we have here at the Stertz ranch. I bought it almost 10 years ago and it is the one that got me into this hobby. I love the Diesel engine, (just cut the lawn with it last night) fuel Efficiency, and power!

It gets used for mowing and towing duties in the summer and blade work all winter.

IH made some great tractors through the decades and so once you’ve owned a variety of them, they are kinda like kids, impossible to pick a favorite😉😁

I like my 127 the best, the 100 runs a closed 2nd.
