It started when a friend gave me a wide pan 14hp Kohler from a Snapper. After researching how the block could be cut and welded, etc. I gave up on that. Didn't want to chop up the frame. Bought a narrow 14hp block and crank on eBay. Built it up using the parts from junk 10hp and 12hp engines...
I grabbed a can of the valspar TRANS YELLOW...not even close, perhaps it is a match for the MTD color?
The closest I've found is the Rustoleum marigold.
Bad news from Rust-Oleum:
"Unfortunately Rust-Oleum Automotive Enamel Gloss Extreme Yellow (252461) was discontinued in November 2018 and is no longer available."
Thanks for the ball hitch ideas. A 2" receiver would be handy.
I had enjoyed this kludge, but can't use the blade or the deck like this. Any GOOD ideas for a front ball?
